Sustainability

A holiday idea that respects its host

At Camping Enzo Stella Maris, sustainability is not a goal to be achieved, but a way of existing. For over fifty years, our family has managed the facility with respect, balance, and responsibility, convinced that quality tourism must grow together with the well-being of the territory, the people, and the environment.

The GSTC certification

We are the first campsite in Italy certified according to the international criteria of the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), recognized worldwide as a standard for sustainable tourism. This certification attests to our concrete commitment to reducing environmental impacts, enhancing the local community, and promoting harmonious growth, in line with the objectives of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda.

The five pillars of our sustainable management

Environmental protection and love for nature

We are the first campsite in Italy certified according to the international criteria of the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), recognized worldwide as a standard for sustainable tourism. This certification attests to our concrete commitment to reducing environmental impacts, enhancing the local community, and promoting harmonious growth, in line with the objectives of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda.

Direct relationship with guests

Dialogue with those who choose us is at the heart of our philosophy. Through our App, we provide real-time information on events, services, and news, reducing paper use. 73% of our guests return every year: a sign of mutual trust born from a sincere and continuous welcome.

Enhancement of the local area

We actively participate in the Cavallino-Treporti Tourist Park, supporting the promotion of the local area and culture. We collaborate with artisans and producers within 50 km, recommend authentic experiences—such as bike excursions and tastings—and promote events that tell the story of the Venetian identity.

Staff involvement and training

100% of our staff comes from the local area. We guarantee constant training on hospitality, safety, and sustainability, and we have activated a corporate welfare program with health coverage and welfare vouchers for all employees, including seasonal ones.

Inclusion and accessibility

For us, hospitality is universal. Paved pathways, accessible bungalows, elevators in the residences, and a lift

Social and cultural sustainability

We believe in the value of the local area and its people. We support educational and social projects, collaborate with local artisans and suppliers, and promote awareness of Cavallino-Treporti's historical heritage through the Batteria Vettor Pisani Museum, exhibitions, and cultural initiatives. Every year, we highlight the Venetian gastronomic tradition and the authentic flavors of the lagoon, combining hospitality and identity. Ours is a sustainability that is lived, not just talked about: made of concrete actions, roots in the territory, and a gaze toward the future. Because the most beautiful vacation is one that respects the place that hosts it—and leaves behind only a trace of beauty.

Energy efficiency

We have made the reduction of consumption and energy efficiency a daily practice. But that's not enough: we have always sought to create real value on a social, cultural, and relational level as well.

accessibility

We believe in a holiday that is accessible to everyone. That’s why our spaces are designed with genuine care: comfortable paths, ramps, and barrier-free areas created for those with mobility challenges and for those traveling with small children or strollers. Because hospitality, for us, always begins with being able to reach every place with ease.

territory

We support the local community with concrete actions: we care for acres of land around the campsite, promote urban redevelopment projects, collaborate with local carpenters, renters, producers, and restaurateurs, and we are committed to keeping the local culture alive through the village's dishes, materials, and visual identity.

responsibility

For us, hospitality also means responsibility. Supporting the local community, valuing people, and promoting a serene and inclusive work environment are commitments we live by every day. We believe in tourism that creates shared value, respects the territory, and focuses on the well-being of both those who travel and those who welcome.
