Two European awards for 2026: ANWB Top Camping and ADAC Superplatz
For the 2026 season, two important confirmations have arrived at Camping Enzo Stella Maris, the kind that count above all because they speak the language of the most demanding European campers. On the one hand theANWB Erkende Top Camping 2026, awarded by the Dutch Automobile Club (over 4 million members) and a reference point for open-air travellers in the Netherlands and beyond. On the other hand, theADAC Superplatz, This is a historical recognition in the camping world, awarded to campsites that achieve the highest ratings in the German guide, after checks and controls on services and overall quality. It is not a simple “medal”. It is, much more concretely, a way of telling you: here you will find exactly what you expect - and often even more.
The ANWB is not just a household name: for many Dutch campers it is the compass by which they choose. The Top Camping award is linked to the highest rating, awarded through a structured system and on-site inspections, where the strength of the offer and the completeness of the services make the difference. Put simply: it is not enough to “look good”. You have to function. And always work well, in the things that really count for those who experience the campsite: space, organisation, cleanliness, services, common areas, facilities, perceived quality day after day.
That is why we like this award so much: because it does not reward a promise, but a verified reality. If the ANWB speaks the language of the Dutch camper, the ADAC is the authoritative voice of camping for the German and Central European public. The Superplatz title is reserved for those who achieve a really high rating, obtaining the highest classification after an inspection that goes into the details: sanitary facilities, pitches, commercial services, leisure facilities and entertainment. In other words: it is an award that comes when every piece of your stay - from morning to evening, from the first day to the last - stands the test of consistency.
What these two awards mean to you (in practice)
They mean that when you book, you are not choosing “a place by the sea”. You are choosing a place designed to make you feel immediately at ease: among trees, shade and silence, with the sea just a stone's throw away and an idea of a holiday in which comfort and beauty do not disturb each other. They also mean something else, more subtle but fundamental: reliability.
That rare tranquillity for which you don't have to “hope” that things will go well: you can count on it.
And for us, internally, these recognitions are a renewed promise: to continue to improve without distorting ourselves. Keeping the bar high, but with the same style as always: the one that needs no noise to get noticed.
